SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ David Archer threw three touchdown passes to Eddie Brown and Mike Pringle ran for two TDs as Sacramento beat Frankfurt 51-7 in the WLAF Saturday night.
The Surge (6-2) remained atop the WLAF’s North American West Division. The Galaxy (2-6) has lost six in a row.
Archer completed 22 of 34 passes for 352 yard, including TD throws of 58, 13 and 42 yards to Brown, who caught five passes for 148 yards. Archer has 19 TD passes, the most for a quarterback in the two years of WLAF play.
Pringle ran 29 times for 119 yards, with TD runs of 3 and 6 yards.
While the offense rolled up 556 yards, the defense didn’t allow the Galaxy past midfield, limiting Frankfurt to 65 yards and five first downs. Frankfurt’s only score was a 107-yard pass interception return by Tim Broady 19 seconds before halftime.
