Madison boys tennis traveled to Hoosier Hills Conference rival Seymour on Thursday and lost 5-0 to the Owls. Madison, now 2-9 on the season, won just 13 games total while dropping the five matches in straight sets. The closest contest was at No. 2 doubles where Seymour’s Pablo Jimenez and Trey Hohenstreiter won over Madison’s Garrett Robinson and Dalton Owen 6-2, 6-3. Other Results: Singles - No. 1 Ty McCord (S) d. Jeremy Huff (M) 6-0, 6-1; No. 2 Adam Berry (S) d. Cooper Yancey (M) 6-2, 6-1; No. 3 Issac Hardin (S) d. Ben Hardin (M) 6-0, 6-1. Doubles - No. 1 Will Rinehart and Sam Schmidt (S) d. Gabe True and Quinten Humes (M) 6-2, 6-1. Madison hosts Oldenburg Academy at 5 p.m. on Monday.
