NDA Honors 5 for October
TYNGSBORO -- Four students were recognized for their initiative and leadership roles in the development of the Academy of Notre Dame community during the month of October.
Samantha Fisher (Pelham, N.H.), Lucera Story (Chelmsford), Alexandra Bazzani (Nashua, N.H.) and Lauren Bradley (Tyngsboro) were all named Students of the Month for their involvement in the success and organization of October’s Pep Rally.
Samantha, Lucera and Alexandra all worked tirelessly to capture their class videos for the Pep Rally. Each student videotaped and edited the final product, which resulted in an outstanding showcase of their class.
Lauren was recognized for her role as DJ for the Pep Rally.
October’s Distinguished Senior recipient is Kathryn Tarantino.
Kathryn was chosen due to her academic achievements, leadership roles and volunteer work.
Academically, she has made the honor roll all four years, is a member of the Spanish Honor Society and is an AP Scholar.
She took part in the Educational Internship Program and the Marketing Internship Programs to expand possible career choices.
Her leadership has been evident throughout her time at the academy. She is the founder the Environmental Club and the Technology Club, and serves as co-president of both the Model UN and the National Honor Society. She also won the Clarkson Book Award for outstanding leadership and academic promise.
Kathryn is a a mission moderator and twice participated in Catholic Heart Work Camp.
