Plans are shaping up for West Shore Bank’s seventh annual Rhythm and Dunes community concert series.

The lineup for this summer’s shows, Saturdays, July 28 and Aug. 4 are Hollywood U2, a U2 tribute band, and Young Guns, a tribute to country music’s superstars.

Both free shows are set to take place at the Waterfront Park amphitheater in downtown Ludington beginning about 6 p.m.

Hollywood U2 brings the look and sound of U2 to their performances. With a set list that spans the band’s entire catalog, they specialize in delivering the iconic Zoo TV and Vertigo tours to U2 fans. Recognized by AXS.TV as one of the world’s greatest tribute bands, the lead singer is the only Bono impersonator to have sung with Bono and U2. Hollywood U2 will be performing on Saturday, July 28. www.hollywoodu2.com

Young Guns’ tribute to country music superstars tears up the stage with songs from iconic country artists of yesterday and today. The band entertains crowds with songs from bands like the Charlie Daniels Band, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Big & Rich, Johnny Cash and many more legendary artists. Young Guns will be performing on Saturday, Aug. 4. www.younggunsband.com.

Crowds have grown each year with an estimated 10,000 to 12,000 music fans attending last year’s concerts.

West Shore Bank is a leading supporter of cultural and economic development in the community and the concert series positively supports the efforts of the Chamber of Commerce, the Visitor Bureau and local merchants by attracting visitors to the area.

The event raises funds for music programs at local area schools. Last year’s event raised more than $12,000.
