OU Football: Watch Lincoln Riley make a 20-yard field goal. If OU student matches at spring game, Riley will pick up next semester’s tuition
Lincoln Riley has promised big things during Oklahoma’s spring game on April 14.
He’s also willing to go into his wallet to reward an OU student who connects on a field goal at the game.
The Oklahoma Football Facebook account, on Friday, showed a video of Riley (a former quarterback) lining up a 20-yard field goal and then kicking a ball (straight on, not soccer style) which carried inside the right upright. (There were no hints on how many takes it took).
Riley said after the south end zone kick: “OU students, it’s that easy. Make this kick on April 14 and next semester’s tuition is on me. Be there. Boomer Sooner.”
The April 14 events will include a Bob Stoops’ statue dedication, a Heisman Trophy presentation to the school and a Trace Adkins concert in conjunction with the 1:15 p.m. game.
Tickets ($10 non-season ticket holders; $5 for season ticket holders) are on sale via the OU website.
