Scott Walker should allow special elections -- Gene Bier
Elections to fill the two legislative districts in the Wisconsin Assembly will not take place until November, and those districts will be without representation for almost a year.
After a Democratic victory in the last special election, our governor fears the trend that could result in erosion of support as he runs for another term. If those elections are delayed as Gov. Scott Walker plans, then I think those citizens should be exempt from paying state income tax in 2018.
If I remember correctly, “Taxation without representation is tyranny.”
