Johnson Controls: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot
CORK, Ireland (AP) _ Johnson Controls International PLC (JCI) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $612 million.
The Cork, Ireland-based company said it had profit of 77 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 78 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 76 cents per share.
The diversified technology and industrial company posted revenue of $6.27 billion in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $6.43 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $5.67 billion, or $6.49 per share. Revenue was reported as $23.97 billion.
Johnson Controls expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.50 to $2.60 per share.
Johnson Controls shares have climbed 49% since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index has risen 23%. The stock has increased 33% in the last 12 months.
