One woman transported to hospital after collision
SCOTTSBLUFF — One woman was transported to Regional West Medical Center after being injured in a collision at 20th Street and Broadway Friday morning.
According to police, the driver of a red SUV was headed southbound and attempted to make an eastbound turn onto 20th Street when the vehicle collided with a silver Nissan. The driver of the silver Nissan was headed northbound on Broadway and was crossing the intersection of 20th Street at the time of the collision.
The driver of the red SUV was cited for a failure to yield and the driver of the silver Nissan was cited for no operator’s license. The identities of the two drivers were not yet available.
As firefighters swept debris from the road, both vehicles were placed onto flatbeds and removed from the intersection.
One woman was transported to Regional West Medical Center. Police reported she suffered minor injuries.
Valley Ambulance, Scottsbluff Fire Department and Scottsbluff Police Department responded to the scene.
