Police Seek Help Identifying Bridge St. Bank Robbery Suspect
LOWELL — Police need help identifying a suspect they say was involved in a robbery at the DCU Federal Credit Union at 564 Bridge St. on Monday.
Reports of the unarmed robbery came over the emergency radio broadcast at around 5:20 p.m.
According to the broadcast, a man assaulted a woman outside the DCU and stole $160 cash, before taking off on foot. He fled toward the area of Seventh or Eighth streets, the broadcast stated.
According to the broadcast, the victim’s blood may have gotten on the suspect’s shirt.
The suspect is described as roughly 5-foot-7, blonde and wearing a white T-shirt.
