Watch for single-lane restrictions on I-75 in the evening

The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued updates for road work in Wood County, including the continuing Interstate 75 widening project.

Concerning the widening:

• Through November, overnight, from 7 p.m.-6 a.m., single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg and County Road 99 in Hancock County. Through December, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from U.S. 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through December, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between Route 20 in Perrysburg and Route 99 in Hancock County.

• Effective Saturday from 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m., southbound I-75, between Ohio 582 and Devils Hole Road, will be reduced to one lane for pavement work.

• Effective Sunday, November 13, from 7 a.m.-11 a.m., the ramp from southbound I-75 to Ohio 64/105 (Exit 181) will be closed for pavement repair.

• Through November, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Route 582 is closed for pavement widening.

• Through November, the ramp from Route 582 to southbound I-75 is closed for pavement widening.

• Through November, Route 582 over I-75, will be reduced to one lane for pavement and bridge work.

In other work:

• Through December, the northbound I-75 rest area is closed for renovations. Through June 2017, the southbound I-75 rest area is closed for renovations, pavement repair.

• Effective Sunday at 9 p.m., through Monday at 6 a.m., lane restrictions are possible on northbound I-75, between Anthony Wayne Trail and Bancroft Street, for paving. Additionally at this time, the ramps to northbound I-75 from Anthony Wayne Trail and from Washington Street will be closed.

• Through November, U.S. 6, between Ohio 25 and Dunbridge Road, is reduced to one lane in each direction. Lane widths are restricted to 11 feet in this work zone.

• Through November, lane restrictions are possible on Route 6, between the Wood/Henry County line and Ohio 235, for paving.

• Through October 2017, overnight from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., single lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between the I-75/475 interchange and Fort Meigs Road. Additionally, overnight from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., lane restrictions are possible on Route 25, between Levis Commons Boulevard and Eckel Junction Road.

• Effective Monday through Nov. 22, Ohio 105, between Bierley Avenue and Bradner Road, will be closed for railroad repair.

• Additional restrictions for the roundabout at Ohio 199 and Roachton Road may be announced for finish work.

• Through Nov. 21, Ohio 235, between Railroad Street and Needles Road in Hoytville, will be closed for railroad repair.

• Through November, daytime intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Route 795 at Glenwood Road, for traffic signal upgrades.

• Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Cherry Street, between Lennex Lane and Main Street in Millbury, for finish work.

• Through November, Dunbridge Road, between Nelson and Simonds roads, is closed for bridge replacement.

• Through November, Lemoyne Road, between Gilbert and Garling roads, is closed for bridge replacement.

• Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Lime City Road between Marilyn Drive and Grassy Lane for finish work.

• Through November, lane restrictions are possible on Ohio 51, between Ohio 163 and Ohio 579, for pavement repair.

• Through December, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for guardrail, striping and electrical maintenance.

• Through November, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for raised pavement marker work.

All work is weather permitting.
