Teenager shot in chest in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood, police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A teenager was shot Thursday night in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood, police said.

The 17-year-old male was shot in the chest about 9 p.m. on East 91st Street and Saint Clair Avenue, Cleveland police said in a news release.

The teenager was taken to University Hospitals for treatment, police said.

Authorities did not identify the teenager by name. A motive in the shooting was also not provided.

It’s unclear if any arrests have been made.
