Backstreet Boys: Playing Mohegan with DeGraw, AJR
The Backstreet Boys return to Mohegan Sun Friday, Dec. 14, just weeks after they released their new single, the Ryan Tedder/Shawn Mendes-penned track “Chances,” and a month before the release of their new album, “DNA.”
The throwback “All-Star Christmas” show features the Backstreet Boys, who helped sell out last year’s 96.5 TIC event, along with special guests Gavin DeGraw and AJR.
“When this group started 26 years ago — and through all the highs and lows of our career — we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group,” says Howie D in a press release.
Gavin DeGraw is a singer and songwriter who rose to fame with the single “I Don’t Want to Be” from his debut album “Chariot.” AJR is an indie pop band composed of brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Met, whose songs include “Weak” and “Sober Up.”
