At THS, Breen, Campbell, Pare, Redman Selected
TYNGSBORO -- Tyngsboro High School recently selected its April Students of the Month.
Alanna Breen, daughter of Phil and Amy Breen, is a member of the National Honor Society and International Thespian Society, and received the Technical Excellence in Sound Design at the semifinal level and the Experimental Theatre Award. She is an eight-year member of Band and Theater and a three-year member of the New England Youth Wind Ensemble.
Alanna volunteers at St. Patrick Church and Tyngsboro Elementary School. She hopes to attend college and continue in sound recording.
Olivia Campbell, daughter of Craig and Kelly Campbell, is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. She received the Principal’s Award and is a member of PALS and Senior Sidekicks.
Olivia is a three-season athlete, competing for the soccer, basketball and spring track teams. She earned the Most Dedicated Award for track and was captain of the soccer team. She volunteers for The Wish Project, Toys For Tots, the 4th of July, graduation, the town farmers market, Lighthouse School and Tiger Pride 5K. She will attend Bryant University to major in Accounting.
Amanda Pare, daughter of Roger and Holly Pare, has received the Principal’s Award. She is a member of the PALS program and the Yearbook Club.
Amanda is a four-year member of the softball team, and has earned the Coaches’ Award and a League All-Star Award. She volunteers with Give Kids the World and youth softball. She plays Northeast Xtreme Softball and is training for a half-marathon. She will attend the University of Tampa to study Marketing.
John Redman, son of Kevin and Rose Maria Redman, has received the Saint Michael’s College Book Award, the Outstanding Achievement in Wellness Award, the Eagle Scout Award and the Silver Palm Award. He is a member, lead programmer and former president of the Robotics Club and a member of the Ski Club.
John is a four-year member of both the soccer and spring track teams. He earned a League All-Star Award, Most Dedicated Award and the Best Performance Award in soccer. He volunteers with the Boy Scouts, at his church and at the Festival of Trees. He hopes to work for NASA, Space X or Boeing as an aerospace engineer.
