Two cars stolen from Greenwich driveway

December 17, 2018

GREENWICH — Police said a Greenwich resident had the dubious honor of having not just one, but two vehicles stolen from a residential driveway. Both vehicles were unlocked and had the ignition devices inside them.

An officer was dispatched to Woodside Drive Monday morning to take a report on the stolen vehicles, which took place sometime during the overnight hours.

A 2015 Chevy K1500 truck and a 2016 Range Rover both went missing from the residence, with the homeowner unaware of the theft, according to the police report.

The Woodside Drive resident wasn’t the only person in Greenwich to wonder, “Hey, where’s my car?” this weekend.

The owner of a 2015 Cadillac Escalade parked the vehicle behind Richard’s on Greenwich Avenue late Friday afternoon, with the keys inside. The vehicle was missing and declared stolen.
