AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) _ Will Furrer ran 46 yards for a touchdown and threw for three scores Saturday to give Amsterdam a 31-27 victory over the Scottish Claymores in the WLAF.

Furrer hit wide receiver Darren Chandler from 7 yards for the game’s first TD and a 18-yard field goal from Adam Vinatieri gave Amsterdam a 10-0 advantage at the half.

But the Claymores offense hit back hard after the break with three third-quarter TDs.

Reserve quarterback Jim Ballard found Sean Lachapelle from 14 yards and Yo Murphy from 7 yards. Lee Gissendaner also scored on a 21-yard reverse.

Furrer brought Amsterdam back into the game with a 40-yard scoring pass to Philip Bob and, after Ballard’s 33-yard TD pass to Lachapelle, found Bobo again for a 14-yard TD. Furrer’s TD run with 3:43 left made the difference.
