Man arrested for pimping after rapping about it online
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — A Los Angeles man authorities say glorified pimping in online rap videos has pleaded not guilty to pimping an 18-year-old woman.
Angel Ortiz Diamond entered the plea last week to felony pimping and pandering.
The Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force began an investigation after relatives of an Orange County woman contacted authorities.
Authorities allege Diamond used his social media following to meet young women in clubs and lure them into human trafficking. They are urging any additional victims of pimping to come forward.
The task force says Diamond, using the name BenjiBoy Staccs, posted numerous YouTube videos where he glorified the pimping subculture.
