Track wraps up regular season at Millenium meet
In its final meet of the regular season, the Lake Havasu track and field team competed in the Tigers Last Chance Meet at Millenium High in Goodyear, where the boys’ team finished second and the girls’ team placed third.
“We fared really well today and competed really well against some of big schools from the Phoenix area,” said head coach Dustin Zampogna. “In a small meet, there was some really good competition.”
There were no additional provisional qualifiers for Lake Havasu and there also were no automatic qualifiers this season.
The results for state qualifiers will be announced on Monday.
