Two injured in North Platte wreck
One person was transported to Great Plains Health after a two-car accident at the corner of F and Oak streets Friday afternoon.
The driver of a Nissan Sentra heading east on F Street stopped at the stop sign, but apparently pulled out in front of a Prius that was southbound on Oak Street.
North Platte Police Officer Brian Folchert said the driver of the Sentra sustained unknown injuries. The driver of the Prius was wearing her seat belt and air bags deployed, and she had what appeared to be minor injuries.
It was not known whether the driver of the Sentra was wearing a seat belt. There were no passengers in either car.
