Maryland man accused of possessing, distributing child porn
ELKTON, Md. (AP) — Authorities have charged a Maryland man with distribution and possession of child pornography, also accusing him of secretly recording a teenager in a private location.
A Maryland State Police news release says troopers with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the activity in August. The agency says the suspect, 21-year-old Parke Reese of Elkton, possessed child pornography files on electronic devices as well as secretly recorded video of a juvenile. He faces an additional count of visual surveillance with prurient intent.
Investigators arrested Reese and seized devices from his home on Monday. He’s being held without bail at the Cecil County Detention Center.
It’s unclear whether he has an attorney who can comment on his behalf.
