Melissa Etheridge will be headlining the sixth annual Rock the River benefit concert for Sunrise Day Camp - Pearl River, N.Y., on Thursday, April 11, at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y.
Etheridge will be playing her hits from her deep catalog, as well as new music from her forthcoming album, “The Medicine Show,” due out Friday, April 12.

Raising over $1.7 million since its inception, Rock the River attracts over 400 of the most prominent business leaders and philanthropists in Westchester and surrounding communities to support the Sunrise Association, whose mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings world-wide, through the creation of Sunrise Day Camps, year-round programs, and in-hospital recreational activities, all offered free of charge, according to the organization’s website.
Sunrise Day Camps are the world’s only full-summer day camps for children with cancer and their siblings.
