Driver dies in crash, car struck tree, caught fire
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say a driver has died in a crash in which his car struck a tree and caught fire.
Police in Manchester said they responded to the crash at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. The car was up against the tree and was fully engulfed in flames. They said once the fire was put out, they found the dead man inside. His identity has not been released.
Police said it appears the car was heading south on Lake Shore Road when it left the road for an unknown reason.
Their investigation is ongoing.
