Police identify driver killed after single-vehicle crash
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Authorities have released the identity of a man who was killed following a car crash on Route 34 in New Haven.
Connecticut State Police say Jason Goglas, 32, of New Haven, was killed after his car crashed into a guardrail and concrete barrier wall Saturday morning.
The New Haven Register reports that emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash around 2 a.m. Police say the crash happened as Goglas exited from Interstate 95 where it connects with Route 34.
Goglas had serious injuries and was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Route 34 was temporarily closed as city and state emergency crews responded to the crash.
