Also transported to Salina Regional Health Center were driver Christopher J. Garcia, 33; and passengers Melissa D. Martin, 28; Alex Z. Garcia, 7; Christian Garcia, 9; Angelina Asebedo, 11; and Damian C. Garcia, 4. They are all from Salina. A hospital spokesman did not immediately return a phone call for information on their conditions.

According to the KHP report, Joslyn A. Geiber, 24, of Salina, who was driving an SUV north on Burma Road, stopped at the stop sign at K-140 but then drove into the intersection and struck Garcia’s SUV. Geiber was not injured, according to the report.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt except Carmen Asebedo, according to the report.
