Grateful Dead exhibit
The Grateful Dead art exhibtion titled “From the Vault: The Art of Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead,” opened Thursday night at the C. Parker Gallery on Greenwich Avenue.
More than 200 people attended the show that featured original artwork by the late Dead bandleader Jerry Garcia and other band members Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. The show includes Grateful Dead artwork by various other artists and photographs of the band done by Rolling Stone Photographer Baron Wolman. There are also Garcia personal items at the show that includes an attache case made for Garcia by the Fender Guitar Company.
Everything at the exhibition is for sale and the show runs through Sunday, April 29th, at the C. Parker Gallery located at 409 Greenwich Avenue.
