WORLDZ ANNOUNCES APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR ITS 2019 WORLDZ GOODFRONTS COMPETITION, CONNECTING SOCIAL GOOD ORGANIZATIONS WITH GLOBAL BRANDS, TECH PLATFORMS, CREATIVE AND MEDIA COMPANIES
Los Angeles, CA, May 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WORLDZ today announced that submissions are now open for its second annual WORLDZ GoodFronts competition, a first-of-its-kind competitive charity marketplace for social good. Introduced at last year’s WORLDZ Summit and inspired by the entertainment industry’s annual UpFronts, the GoodFronts is where action meets opportunity in the world of social enterprise, connecting today’s most important causes with the resources they need to achieve their mission. The WORLDZ GoodFronts is founded by Ross Martin, CEO of Blackbird and Roman Tsunder, co-founder and CEO of WORLDZ + PTTOW!, the 2019 WORLDZ GoodFronts are presented in association with the Ad Council.
Beginning today through June 28, 2019, organizations can submit here for the chance to compete in the “Action Auction” for the time, talent, and platforms of business leaders from across 70 different industries. In just under 90 minutes, the 2018 WORLDZ GoodFronts raised $10MM in resources and investment for last year’s presenting organizations: The Gun Safety Alliance, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Love Has No Labels, and the UN World Food Programme.
Organizations selected for the second annual WORLDZ GoodFronts will present their cause on September 11 in Long Beach, California as part of WORLDZ Summit - a carefully programmed two-day event with eclectic, immersive, intimate experiences that are created and led by influential business leaders and cultural icons.
