Las Vegas police: Armed robbers hitting fireworks stands
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police says there’s been a rash of armed robberies of fireworks stands in the metro area and they’re are advising operators to be on the alert.
Police say “a series of robberies” have occurred since Monday at stands along West Charlestown Boulevard and that each involved a vehicle pulling up to a stand and several suspects getting out and demanding money from the victim at gunpoint.
No injuries have been reported.
The amount of money stolen wasn’t released.
