Perrys’ 60th anniversary

March 17, 2019

John and Cookie Perry were married March 21, 1959, in a little Methodist Church in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. The janitor of the church was their witness. Cookie’s wedding band cost a whopping $6.

Little did they know what a wonderful journey they had embarked upon.

They are the parents of six sons, John II (Linda), Bill (Karen), Mark (Angel), Matt (Rani), Matthew (USAF) and Josh (Amanda). They also have 15 grandchildren and their spouses, 19 great-grandchildren and two more to be born.

John, a former manager of Prudential Insurance and Financial Services, retired in 1985 after 28 years of service. After retirement he continued his hobby of developing real estate property, which he still enjoys. He is presently CEO of Perry Investment Properties LLC, a real estate development company.

John and Cookie love the scriptures, and they have been active with many responsibilities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for the past 39 years.

Cookie has not retired; she still nurtures and loves her sons, their wives, grandchildren and their spouses and her great-grandchildren.
