Authorities say NYC fire that killed 3 was intentionally set
NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities say a New York City house fire that killed three people and injured two others was intentionally set.
The Fire Department of New York tweeted Thursday that fire marshals have determined that an ignitable liquid was used in Wednesday’s fire in a two-story house in Queens.
Police say a 6-year-old girl and two men ages 76 and 23 were killed in the fire. A 35-year-old woman and a 10-month-old boy are hospitalized in critical condition.
The investigation is continuing.
