Monona police looking for partially-clad woman to check welfare
Monona police are looking for a scared, partially-clad woman who went into a convenience store Monday night, with police wanting to check on her welfare to make sure she’s alright.
The incident happened at about 8:20 p.m.
The woman, who had no shirt on but was wearing a bra, ran into the store saying someone was trying to hurt her.
“Witnesses said she appeared to be very scared,” said police Det. Matt Bomkamp. “She took a T-shirt from the store and fled on foot.”
The woman arrived at the store with a man but didn’t leave with him.
She is white, in her early 20s, long dark hair and a large tattoo on her arm.
