n Today, the Senior Activity Center, 427 N. 6th Ave. will host breakfast 7:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Silver Chords Choir at 9:30 a.m., Community Balance Class at 11:30 a.m., pinochle from 1 p.m., and karaoke at 7 p.m., 18 and older, all are welcome.

n Mystic Squares Square Dance Club and Semi Circle Round Dance Club to host new classes today from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., mainstream plus class at 5:15 to 6:30 p.m., round class 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at South Pocatello Square Dance Hall, 1935 S. n The Palace Playhouse will present “Fiddler on the Roof” today with dinner at 6:15 p.m. and showtime at 7 p.m. The Palace Playhouse is located at 158 East Chubbuck Road. The play features local talent, and patrons can purchase tickets to the show or can also enjoy a dinner/theatre experience. n Brookdale Senior Living Solutions will host a Friends For Life event every second Thursday of each month. This months lunch will be served at noon on August 10. There is a $7 charge at the door. n The 2017 Chubbuck Days Celebration will be Friday and Saturday. On Friday, a free family movie at Stuart Park will be sponsored by Allstate and City of Chubbuck and will feature The Sandlot will begin at approximately dusk. Come early and bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, blankets, even games to play with your kids, while you wait for the movie to start. What a great way to spend an evening outdoors. On Saturday, there will be a free Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Allstate from 7 to 9 a.m. at Stuart Park. A Parade will be at 10 a.m. The Parade will proceed from the Pine Ridge Mall west entrance onto Hawthorne Rd., turning left onto West Chubbuck Rd. and ending at LDS Church on Independence Ave.The 2017 Grand Marshal is long time Chubbuck Resident Bill Armstrong. A Festival will be at Stuart Park Stuart Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a variety of fun family activities.
