New Beacon Hill cafe to open Saturday in former Casbeers spot
Get those appetites revved up, folks. SoHill Cafe, a new European-inspired bistro in the former Beacon Hill home old Casbeers Cafe & Cantina, is set to open Saturday, Nov. 3. The new restaurant is the latest effort from Jean-Francois Poujol.
If the name sounds familiar, there’s a good reason for that. He was the driving force behind the late Soleil Bistro & Wine Bar, Tost BistroBar and Le Midi. He sold his last remaining property, Tribeca 212, last year.
Chef Justin Limburg will helm the kitchen at SoHill. He’s crafted a menu of wood-fired pizzas, scratch-made pastas and more.
SoHill Cafe will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday at 1719 Blanco Road. Facebook: @SoHillCafe
