Real estate briefs: Apache Corp. extends commitment to Galleria HQ
Apache Corp. has signed a 524,342-square-foot lease renewal at its Post Oak Central headquarters at 2000 Post Oak Blvd. near the Galleria, Parkway Property Investments announced. The 60-month lease renewal, which extends Apache’s lease through 2024, replaces a lease extension announced in June 2017. Tim Relyea and Scott Wegmann of Cushman & Wakefield represented Apache in the negotiations. Eric Siegrist and Amanda Nebel of Parkway represented the landlord.
McLane Global has expanded into 284,170 square feet at Interstate Commerce Center, setting the stage for the next phase of the 717,706-square-foot office and logistics park near FM 1960 and Interstate 45 in north Houston. The company leases about two-thirds of the initial phase, which consists of 414,016 square feet in two buildings. Matteson Hamilton and Jeremy Lumbreras with Stream Realty represented the developer, a partnership of Dallas-based Copeland Commercial and Hillwood Investment Properties. Patrick Rollins with CBRE represented the tenant.
Aliana Development Co., has changed its name to Airia Development Co. as the company prepares to expand beyond its 2,000-acre Aliana community in Richmond. Led by Travis Stone, Airia Development will manage and operate the continued development of Aliana and an additional 8,000 acres it controls across the north Houston region. It will initially develop a 2,200-acre tract as a master-planned community to be announced later this year, the company said.
Live Woodlands Real Estate has opened Cubic CoWork, a two-building project totaling 18,000 square feet in Rayford Office Park at 1310 Rayford Park Road in Spring. The co-working facility, which used shipping containers and reclaimed wood in the design, has collaborative work areas, meeting and conference facilities, private offices, a receptionist and a lounge area.
Lonestar Products and Equipment has leased 8,050 square feet at 28242 Robinson Road near The Woodlands. Nick Terry of NAI Partners represented the landlord.
Miller Insulation Co. has leased 9,000 square feet of warehouse space at 5656 N. Sam Houston Parkway East. Logan Greer of InSite Realty Partners represented the landlord, EastGroup Properties. George Montes of Cypressbrook Co. represented the tenant.
G2G Family Properties has purchased 5.8 acres at 25635 Southwest Freeway in Rosenberg. Larry Indermuehle with ICO Commercial represented the buyer.
BPL Plasma has leased 11,537 square feet at 150 1St Street West, Humble. Chris Sido, Brian Ashby and Sydney Dixon with CBRE represented the tenant. Sidney Mafrige with Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord, Bender Square Partners.
AFC Transportation has leased parking at 3908 Decker Drive at Spur 330 in Baytown. Wade Sinclair of Claire Sinclair Properties represented the landlord. Eric Hughes of Centermark Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.
