3rd District Ballot Hits Double Digits

The Democratic ballot for the 3rd Congressional District has hit double digits.

Boxboro’s Patrick Littlefield, former executive director of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Innovation, announced Friday on Twitter that he had collected enough verified signatures to make the ballot.

Littlefield became the 10th Democrat on the ballot, joining Jeff Ballinger, Alexandra Chandler, Beej Das, Rufus Gifford, Dan Koh, Barbara L’Italien, Patrick Littlefield, Bopha Malone, Juana Matias and Lori Trahan.

Democrat,Leonard Golder said he submitted the required 2,000 signatures for verification with town clerks, although the deadline for certification is not until June 4.

The Democrats will face off in the Sept. 4 primary election. Rick Green, a Republican, is also on the ballot, but he does not face any primary opposition.
