Celtics set for summer

June 30, 2017 GMT

It’s almost opening night. For summer league, at least.

The Celtics set their roster for summer league yesterday, with No. 3 overall pick Jayson Tatum joining a group that includes last year’s No. 3 pick, Jaylen Brown, and fellow 2016 first-round selection Ante Zizic.

Zizic, from Croatia, will be making his Celtics debut in summer league, as he did not participate last year.

It will be the second straight summer league for Brown.

All three second-round picks from last week, Semi Ojeleye, Kadeem Allen and Jabari Bird, will be on the roster. They’ll be joined by 2016 second-round picks Demetrius Jackson and Abdel Nader.

The Celtics open summer league on Monday at 7 p.m. in Utah against Philadelphia. They will play three games in Salt Lake City before heading to Las Vegas for the second half of the summer league.
