JUNEAU -- Chad Jeche, 35, of Beaver Dam, was sentenced for delivery of methamphetamine Wednesday by Dodge County Circuit Court Judge Steven Bauer.

Bauer ordered Jeche to spend 7 1/2 years in prison with an additional five years of extended supervision. Jeche was also sentenced on several felony bail jumping charges and a narcotics charge.

In March 2017, the Dodge County Drug Task Force arranged an undercover drug buy with Jeche for the purchase of methamphetamine. Through the buy, the Dodge County Task Force obtained 1.6 grams of a crystal white substance that tested positive for meth.

Jeche contested his case at a jury trial in November 2018, prosecuted by Dodge County District Attorney Kurt Klomberg. The jury returned a guilty verdict in less than 30 minutes.

Jeche had a criminal record dating back nearly 20 years with 14 prior criminal convictions.

“Jeche is the kind of individual who is not interested in following any of the rules of society,” Klomberg said.

Bauer agreed.

“I believe you are a high risk to society,” Bauer said.
