Subaru of Pembroke Pines (SPP), Florida’s #1 Volume Subaru Dealer, according to Subaru Of America’s Sales Data 2018, celebrated Subaru Loves Pets Month by hosting their 4th Annual “Dog Appreciation Pawty,” sponsored by Craig Zinn and the Craig Zinn Automotive Group, which owns and operates Subaru of Pembroke Pines.
A commitment to caring for pets is integral to the Subaru Love Promise, and this year, Subaru expanded its dedication by establishing the first-ever National Make A Dog’s Day. Subaru and its retailers sponsored a nationwide effort to help the hardest-to-adopt shelter dogs find loving homes.
“Our goal in supporting organizations such as Pooches in Pines reinforces a commitment to all dogs, especially those in shelters, and increasing their overall chance of finding safe, loving forever homes,” said Craig Zinn, founder and CEO at the Craig Zinn Automotive Group.
Since its inception, the SPP Dog Appreciation Pawty has increased in attendance; this year’s event brought together nearly 300 guests and their “pawsome” companions, raising awareness in support of Pooches In Pines, Inc., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation which functions alongside the Pembroke Pines Police Department’s (PPPD) Animal Assistance Program (AAP).
“Pooches In Pines is very grateful to once again be part of the Subaru of Pembroke Pines Dog Appreciation Pawty. These types of events provide exposure for our organization and help educate the public about our services and what to do if their dog becomes lost. They also provide an opportunity to expose the dogs we have that are up for adoption and need forever homes,” said Captain Stacy Jurgens, of the Pembroke Pines Police Department, and President of Pooches In Pines.
