Calhoun Little Theater produces “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)”

November 18, 2016

T’was just before Christmas and the Calhoun Little Theatre couldn’t rest… instead of settling in for a quiet yuletide season, the CLT is hard at work on the hilarious, rollicking holiday production called “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!).”

With every intention of performing a traditional (but musty) version of the beloved holiday classic “Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol” for the umpteenth time, the cast reconsiders at the last minute and launches into a tribute to every Christmas story ever told. Three actors (Mark Waters, Jesse Evans and Susan Powell), armed with a bazillion props and costumes, send up everything from Charles Dickens to Dr. Seuss, Jimmy Stewart to the Macy’s Parade, and even Rudolf (sort of) in a madcap romp through the holiday season.

It’s the perfect way to get ready for the holidays, beat the festive fatigue, and share some holiday cheer. This high energy, fast-paced show is sure to become a B.H.C. (that’s Beloved Holiday Classic) for you and your family.
