TC Line: Nothing but Lies
I expect truth
This is about the “Adorable call.” If I want lies, half truths and misstatements, I’ll just wait for the president to start opening his mouth. Otherwise, I expect at least some semblance of humor or the truth in something that’s printed in the Open Forum. I don’t expect that whole paragraph and a half, two paragraphs to be nothing but lies, especially in the political season.
Birthright citizenship is not in the 14th Amendment. All the 14th Amendment did was basically allow slaves and children of slaves to be no longer slaves, and American citizens. Birthright citizenship is a creation of the courts, not of the Constitution.
Not in Longmont
No, no, no, no, no. No RVs. No skydivers. No airport. No noisy cars. No beggars. Ah, Longmont, city of love.
I was so impressed with the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. They were very polite and friendly, and also the young children at the parade who were sitting on the curbs who would run out and gather candy and give it to the little children sitting next to them who couldn’t run as fast.
RVs on streets
Concerning RVs on the street. If the city of Longmont doesn’t want to enforce the laws on the parking of the streets with RVs, they should open up Boulder County Fairgrounds and let them park down there and clean up the mess that they leave behind when they leave the streets.
The Democrats want to let caravan after caravan in, and those people claim medical. So pretty soon people with Medicaid and Medicare, you’re not going to get any more because it will be completely depleted. As it’s going right now, it’s getting depleted, and that doesn’t count all the thousands coming across the border. When Democrats let them in, thousands more will come.
Way to go green
Attention, all green energy poo-pooers and Boulder haters. Time to give credit where credit is due. The city of Boulder’s conversion of an old bus from diesel to electric is great through and through. It is significantly cheaper for taxpayers than buying a new bus, and they’re spending the thousands of dollars locally for the conversion at Loveland and Longmont businesses. One charge overnight powers an entire route, and it will be cleaner than fossil fuels and quieter than regular buses. See? It can be done. Thank you, Boulder.
This is the first time that a one-line sentence has irritated me so much, I didn’t continue to read. “Countryside signs” goes on to say, “Can we get street signs at the Countryside trailer park in south Longmont?” If you live at Countryside, you need to say mobile home park. Trailer park means trash.
Migrants at door
Oh my gosh. I heard my door bell ring (Halloween night), and when I opened my door, there were at least a thousand migrants demanding candy. Many have smallpox, some were from the Mideast, and they all wanted citizenship too.
