One Dead, Two Others Hurt In Shooting Outside Castle Club
One person is dead, another in critical condition and a third in stable condition after a shooting outside an after-hours club along North Main Avenue in Scranton, police said.
A security guard for the Castle club near Providence Square shot the three males early this morning, Chief Carl Graziano said in a text message.
Police have not released the victims’ nor the shooter’s names. The chief said the victims never entered the club.
Police are conducting interviews and reviewing security footage today.
Two of the victims were wanted on felony charges in Wilkes-Barre, the chief said. Police are working with the Lackawanna County district attorney’s office to determine whether the shooting was justified.
