2 injured in Green County crash, Sheriff’s Office says
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Green County Thursday night, with the driver causing the crash hitting the other vehicle stopped at a stop sign.
The crash happened at about 10 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 11 and S in the town of Jefferson, just outside the village of Juda, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Ann Broshous, 55, Juda, was stopped at the stop sign on Highway S when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle going east o n Highway 11 driven by Donald Scherrer Lomon, 23, Platteville.
Broshous had to be extricated from her vehicle, and both were taken to the Monroe Clinic Hospital.
Scherrer Lomon was ticketed for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle and Broshous was ticketed for having no insurance.
