Family: My mom, Sondra; my dad, Ed and my younger brother, Dallas.

Occupation: I am a third-grade after-school tutor, and I am a professor’s assistant at Yuba College.

What’s your walk-up intro music? I really like country music, but I wouldn’t say I have a favorite song. What I listen to depends on what mood I’m in.

Hobbies, interests: I like wakeboarding and going to the beach or to the lake.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I was born here and have lived here my entire life.

What do you like about the Yuba-Sutter area? I love that most of my family lives here. I also like that it is a small town and is not too crowded but is close enough to bigger cities that you can easily visit.

Where would you like to retire to/live for a year? I think I would like to retire somewhere near a beach.

Dream vacation: I would love to travel around Europe. I would also like to visit Australia.

What is the closest you’ve been to a famous person?: I got to meet Dana Gioia, the Poet Laureate of California, at work a few months ago. He was really nice and I enjoyed having the opportunity to talk to him.

What would you do with a million dollars? I would save some for my family and myself, I would take some time to travel and I would donate some to charity.

Favorite memory to share: All the camping trips I took with my friends and family growing up.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? When I was very young, I obviously wanted to be a princess but as I got older, I wanted to be a veterinarian or a nurse.

Dream job: I want to be a school psychologist, I love working with kids and want to be able to help them.

Pet peeve: Slow drivers.

What do you like about yourself? I think I’m a kind person.

What/where is your heaven on earth? Being with my friends and family

Favorite book: “The Art of Racing in the Rain.”
