Jim Hinckley promotes new book in Kingman July 4

KINGMAN — Jim Hinckley, internationally acclaimed author, lecturer, historian, tour guide, and tour development consultant, will be at Kingman’s Independence Day celebration to sign his new book: 100 Things to Do on Route 66 Before You Die.

Well-known in Needles, Hinckley has distilled years of travel and research on America’s Mother Road into his 100 favorites: a must for any aficionado’s bucket list.

He and his book will be at the Mohave County Fairgrounds, 2600 Fairgrounds Ave. in Kingman on Wednesday, July 4, from noon until after the fireworks end. Admission is free and open to the public.
