Poling named circuit judge in West Virginia’s Raleigh County
BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) — A new judge has been appointed to West Virginia’s 10th Judicial Circuit Court.
Gov. Jim Justice named Darl W. Poling of Beckley to the seat, which was vacated by Judge John Hutchison. Hutchison was appointed justice of the state Supreme Court.
The 10th Circuit serves Raleigh County.
Poling was appointed Monday. He has served 23 years as a municipal court judge in Beckley and also has a private law firm. He has practiced law in West Virginia since 1988.
