Creighton men’s basketball drops game at Seton Hall
Khadeen Carrington hit a go-ahead layup with 2:05 to play and 23rd ranked Seton Hall rallied from a 13-point second-half deficit to defeat 25th ranked Creighton 90-84 in the Big East Conference opener for both schools last night.
Martin Krampelj led four players in double figures with a career-high 23 points and ten rebounds for the Bluejays, which had a five-game winning streak snapped. Marcus Foster, who hurt his right leg early, finished with 14 points and five rebounds, but only two points in the second half. Desi Rodriguez led four players in double figures for the Pirates with 23 points and five steals. Angel Delgado had a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards. Seton Hall is now 12-2 overall and 1-0 in the BIG EAST while Creighton falls to 10-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
