CULTURE: Domenico Fisichella, 58, from Rome. Political science professor at the University of Rome, private Rome university LUISS, newspaper commentator and author of books ″The Power Of the Industrial Society,″ ″Totalitarianism: A Regime of Our Time.″ Associated with tiny monarchist movement.

TRANSPORT: Publio Fiori, 56, from Rome, former Christian Democrat, lower- level Cabinet official. Entered politics in 1971 as head of Rome city council. In 1977, wounded in attack by Red Brigades leftist terrorists. Elected deputy 1979.

AGRICULTURE: Adriana Poli Bortone 50, from Lecce. Latin professor at University of Lecce. Only woman in Cabinet. Longtime MSI party official. Deputy since 1983.

ENVIRONMENT: Altero Matteoli 53, business manager from Leghorn. MSI deputy elected 1983. Served on committee investigating P2 masonic scandal involving leading members of government and industry.
