SEATTLE (AP) _ Omeros Corporation (OMER) on Tuesday reported a loss of $16.5 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Seattle-based company said it had a loss of 33 cents. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense, came to 20 cents per share.

The drug developer posted revenue of $29.9 million in the period.

Omeros shares have risen 23% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $13.70, an increase of nearly 7% in the last 12 months.
