Expect ‘prominent alumni presence,’ like Reggie Bush, at Saints’ playoff game vs. Panthers
Fans in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday for the New Orleans Saints’ playoff game vs. the Carolina Panthers should be on the lookout for plenty of familiar faces.
“Saints want fans to bring the noise again this week. Going to have another push. And I’m told there will be a ‘very prominent alumni presence’ at the game,’” The Advocate’s Nick Underhill reported Thursday morning.
One player who said he’ll be there: former running back Reggie Bush.

Saints coach Sean Payton and players praised the most recent home crowd for its noise after the team’s pivotal 23-13 win over the Falcons on Christmas Eve.
There are still plenty of tickets available on secondary markets for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff. And prices are falling. As of Wednesday afternoon on StubHub and the NFL Ticket Exchange, tickets started at just under $90 each. As of Thursday morning, prices started at less than $70 each.
Face value for playoff tickets for this round, according to the Saints, range from $48 to $313 each.
This is the third meeting between the teams and the second in New Orleans this season. The Saints won a Dec. 3 matchup, 31-21, at the Superdome and a Sept. 24 matchup, 34-13, in Charlotte.
New Orleans has never faced Carolina in the playoffs.
