Warrenville convenience store robbed twice, police believe by same suspect

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating another armed robbery at a Circle K on Augusta Road in Warrenville early Saturday morning.

This is the second robbery at this store this week, the first being on April 18 and investigators believe the suspect is the same man in both incidents.

Deputies responded to 1173 Augusta Road around 3:16 a.m. Saturday and the store clerk stated the suspect came into the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money, according to the release.

The suspect is described as a black male 5’10’ tall, 210lbs with a goatee, wearing a striped shirt, blue jeans and a denim jacket, the release states.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money in an unknown direction.

The investigation is still ongoing and information will be released as it becomes available.
