Bruins Rally to Net Point
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Down 3-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second period, the Boston Bruins battled back to earn a point in a 4-3 shootout loss on Monday.
Oliver Bjorkstrand and Artemi Panarin scored in the shootout and Boston was unable to put anything past Columbus netminder Sergei Bobrovsky as the Blue Jackets escaped with the win.
A power-play goal by Patrice Bergeron with 4:23 left in the second got Boston on the board before Torey Krug and Brad Marchand scored goals 1:21 apart in the third.
Marchand’s power-play tally with 8:13 remaining pulled Boston even.
David Pastrnak assisted on all three Bruins goals and Tuukka Rask turned aside 29 shots in the loss.
