Laughlin Memorial Day ceremony moved to American Legion Hall
LAUGHLIN — The Laughlin Memorial Day ceremony on May 27 will be held at the Laughlin American Legion Hall at 1510 Bruce Woodbury Drive at 11 a.m.
Following the ceremony, there will be a hosted lunch for those who attend the ceremony.
The ceremony this year will be conducted by the Laughlin American Legion Post 60, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 60, American Legion Riders Chapter 60, Unit 60 Auxiliary and the Laughlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 243.
“The place was changed from the Avenue of the Flags on Casino Drive to the Legion,” Roger Reimer said. “It was just too hot, even at 10 a.m., for a lot of our older veterans.”
